Basiram Brahma Narzary obtained his Integrated MSc in Chemistry from the Central University of Tamil Nadu, India. In 2019, he moved to the UK to pursue his PhD at the University of Bristol under the supervision of Prof. Charl F. J. Faul. His doctoral research focused on the design and synthesis of metal-free porous polyimides, emphasising their applications in CO₂ capture and catalytic conversion into valuable fuels and chemicals.

In 2024, he joined the University of Queensland as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Prof. Andrew Whittaker's research group. His current work focuses on the development of advanced polymeric membranes for gas separation and ion exchange applications aimed at environmental sustainability.
