Congratulations on ARC Linkage grant success

Professor Andrew Whittaker and Dr. Hui Peng were awarded $788,130 for a 3-year ARC Linkage Project to investigate how starch could play a key role in the development of a new generation of bioplastics. The project is in collaboration with Professor Janis Matisons of Intertape Polymer Group. UQ Emeritus Professor Robert Gilbert and Dr. Bernadine Flanagan from UQ’s Queensland Alliance for Agriculture and Food Innovation (QAAFI) will also be joining the project.
